Freiheit
A downloadable game for Windows
What does freedom actually mean?
Inspired by ZeroRanger(if that wasn't obvious enough, also comes with way too many references to ZeroRanger and other stuff).
Created for My First Game Jam Summer 2021.
Made in one week because that's all I can spare.
Features:
- Minimal content that consists of one single level
- A bad story that has no deeper meaning at all
- Terrible soundtracks that are definitely not simple transcriptions/arrangements
- Horrible level design that may or may not be very boring
Here's a little challenge for fun: can you find all the references? Most of them are from ZeroRanger, but some of them are from other games/works. Post your findings in the comment section below, and I will list out all of them after some time.
Known issue(s):
- Restarting the game causes the previous screen to persist and overlaps with the menu(no fix yet)
Tools used:
GameMaker Studio 2
Krita
Bfxr
Bosca Ceoil
Audacity
Resources used:
ORANGE SOUNDS -ZeroRanger Original Soundtrack- by eebrozgi(under Creative Commons)
Joystix Font by Raymond Larabie(licensed for personal and commercial use)
